About
Made by people who ride here.
Velomo started because the best cycling route across our city was in nobody’s app. It lived in the heads of a few riders. We are putting it in yours.

Why we build it the slow way
Most navigation apps treat a bicycle as a slow car. They pick the shortest line, maybe with a “bike” layer painted on top, and leave you to find out at the junction that the shortcut was a flyover.
We wanted the opposite: an app that knows the difference between a street you would send a friend down and one you would not, and that lets you choose how much of that difference you want to trade for time.
That means scoring every street, every crossing and every turn. It means riding the corridors ourselves before we open a city. It means building the Thai version properly, with Thai street names read by a Thai voice, rather than translating the menus and calling it localised. And it means letting the people who actually ride tell the map when it is wrong.
It is slower. It is also the only way to build something you can trust with your commute.
What we promise
Three things we won’t change.
Safest is the default
Every new rider starts on Safest. Speed is a choice you make, not one we make for you.
Your data is yours
Your rides stay on your phone, nothing is sold, and one tap deletes everything.
Every language is a first language
If Velomo ships in a language, the whole app ships in it. No half-translated screens.
Who is behind it
A small team, on bikes.
