Terms of use

These terms apply to the Velomo app and the velomo.app website. By using the app you agree to them. They are short on purpose.

Riding is your responsibility

Velomo suggests routes. You ride them. A route marked “Safest” is the one our scoring rates as the calmest option available, not a guarantee of anything. Roads change, drivers make mistakes, and maps are never perfect. Obey traffic law, look where you are going, and use your own judgement over any instruction from the app. Do not handle your phone while moving.

Using Velomo

You need to be at least 16 to use Velomo. Use it for your own, non-commercial riding. You may share routes and screenshots freely. You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or bulk-export routing data, or use the app to build a competing service.

What you add

Reports, pin fixes and the name you show to friends remain yours. You give us permission to store and show them to run Velomo, and to use them to improve routing for other riders. Keep reports honest: false reports make the map worse for everyone, and we remove them.

Be decent

No harassment, impersonation, spam or anything illegal in names, reports or shared rides. We can remove content and block use of Velomo that breaks these rules.

Testing

Velomo is still being tested. The app may change, break or lose features without notice. We will do our best to warn you about anything that affects your data.

Availability and changes

We may change or discontinue features, and we may stop operating in a city or country. If we close Velomo entirely we will give at least 60 days’ notice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Velomo is provided “as is” and we are not liable for loss or injury arising from your use of a route, from map errors, or from the app being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
